Visit Attingham Park car-free

It takes a bit of planning to visit Attingham Park car-free.

Bus 97 runs a few times per day (not on Sundays) from Shrewsbury bus station (Stand S). The journey takes about 15 minutes. Jump off at the Mytton & Mermaid Hotel. It’s then about a 15-minute walk along lanes to Attingham Park.

Bus 97 also runs from Telford bus station (35 mins) and Ironbridge (25 mins).

There are direct trains to Shrewsbury from: Crewe, Wrexham (40 mins), Hereford, Chester (50 mins), Birmingham New Street (60 mins), Manchester Piccadilly (75 mins) and other stations around Wales and England.

About Attingham Park

Visit the Regency era mansion for a tour of the wallpaper conservation studio! There are also 200 acres of landscaped parkland to explore, including: a natural play area, vegetable garden with glasshouse, the National Collection of camassia flowers, and a SSSI designated wider estate.
