There is bike parking at both gates, but please don’t cycle inside the museum. Plan your cycle route here. The museum is very near to National Route 75.

From Glasgow by bus 902
Bus 902 stops close to the museum. Buses leave from Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station (Stance 48) (indoors) regularly. The journey takes 20-about 25 minutes, via Bargeddie and Langloan. Jump off at the Bus Stance (bus shelters) near the bridge on South Circular Road.

Bus 201 runs frequently from: Airdrie (about 15 mins), Bellshill (20 mins), Blantyre (60 mins), East Kilbride (75 mins), Hairmyres (95 mins), Hamilton (50 mins) and Motherwell (35 mins).

From Edinburgh by bus 902
Bus 902 stops close to the museum. Buses leave regularly the following sheltered bus stops:

- –Whitburn Heartlands Services Southbound (30 mins)
