How to get to RHS Garden Harlow Carr car-free:

There are regular trains to Harrogate from Leeds and York.

Train times and tickets

The bus station is right by the train station. Catch Bus 6 from Stand 3 (alight Shepherd’s Dog) or bus X6A from Stand 6 (alight Harlow Pines). It’s a 10-minute ride.

Highlights include the large herbaceous borders, wildflower meadows, the kitchen and scented gardens, an alpine zone, woodland and streamside walks. Children will enjoy the natural play features in the garden including the Logness Monster and the Craggle Top Tree House with the holidays packed full of family activities. RHS Plant Centre and shop.

Bike routes

Harrogate is on National Route 67. It’s a 2-mile cycle from Harrogate station to Harlow Carr through Valley Gardens. There is plenty of cycle parking at the Garden.

Taxi numbers

There is a taxi rank at Harrogate Station. The fare to Harlow Carr is around £8.
