There are regular trains to Malton from Manchester, Leeds, York and Scarborough.Train times and prices
At Malton, hop on Coastliner bus 843 for the 10-minute ride to Scampston. Get off at ‘Scampston Lane End’, near Rillington.

3 Plan your car-free journey
It’s a 6.5 mile cycle from Malton Station – there’s a cycle path next to the A64 – see cyclestreets. Or you can choose a more leisurely route on quiet lanes.
