Scampston is open Wednesdays to Sundays, and Bank Holidays, from 31 March to 31 October 2021 – see website for details.

Direct buses from Leeds, York and Scarborough stop a short walk away from Scampston. You can also take the train to Malton and then a bus or taxi to Scampston. Use the journey planner above for train and bus times and walking routes.

Cyclists welcome. It’s a 6.5 mile cycle from Malton Station – there’s a cycle path next to the A64 – here’s the route. Or you can choose a more leisurely route on quiet lanes – plan your route.
