Visit York Mansion car-free

Visit by bus for just £2 each way. Most buses in England are offering £2 Single Fares until 31st December 2024. Our journey planner will show you if your route is included, or you can find a full list of participating operators and routes here.

It’s easy to reach York Mansion car-free. It’s in the city centre, about a 10-minute stroll from York train station.

There are direct trains from Leeds (about 25 mins), Newcastle (60 mins), Sheffield (70 mins), and cities across England and Scotland. When you travel by train, a York PlusBus ticket offers unlimited travel around the city by bus.
