It’s easy to reach York City Cruises car-free. It is in the city centre, about a 10-minute stroll from York train station.

There are direct trains to York from Leeds (about 25 mins), Newcastle (60 mins), Sheffield (70 mins), and cities across England and Scotland. When you travel by train, a York PlusBus ticket offers unlimited travel around the city by bus.

There are frequent buses from around York, stopping nearby. These include the sightseeing buses CS and Golden Tours. Hop off at Museum Street. Other buses run to York from many other towns and cities.
