The nearest train station is Darlington

From Darlington, hop on bus X26 or bus X27 (from Park Lane, right outside the station) to Richmond Market Place. The castle is just a couple of minutes walk away. Use the journey planner above to get train and bus times and walking route.

Trains to Darlington run regularly from Saltburn (1 hour), Edinburgh (2 hours), London Kings Cross (2½ hours), Bristol Temple Meads (4½ hours) and many other towns.
