Visit Scarborough North Bay Railway car-free

Visit by bus for just £2 each way. Most buses in England are offering £2 Single Fares until 31st December 2024. Our journey planner will show you if your route is included, or you can find a full list of participating operators and routes here.

It’s quite easy to reach North Bay Railway at Peasholm Park car-free. It’s about 10 minutes by bus from the train station, or a 25-minute stroll.

Buses run to Scarborough from: Bridlington, Filey, Whitby, Middlesbrough, Leeds and York. Use our journey planner to get the best route from where you are.

There are direct trains to Scarborough from: Filey (about 15 mins), York (50 mins), Hull and Leeds (80 mins), Sheffield. When you travel by train, a Scarborough PlusBus ticket gives you unlimited travel by bus around the town.
