Visit Tintern Abbey car-free

From Stand 1 at Chepstow bus station, bus 69 leaves hourly (less frequently on Sundays), heading towards Monmouth and stops right outside Tintern Abbey.

Chepstow bus station is a ten-minute walk from Chepstow railway station, which has trains from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Carmarthen and lots of other places.

About Tintern Abbey

An impressive towering ruin on the banks of the Wye, whose graceful arches among steep riverside woods have inspired poets and painters.
