It’s easy to visit Urquhart Castle car-free.

Bus 919 stops outside. Buses leave from Inverness bus station (Stance 2) regularly. The journey takes about 30 minutes.

There are regular trains to Inverness from Dingwall (30 mins), Elgin (40 minutes),  Aberdeen (2¼ hours) and beyond. Inverness bus station is a short, signed walk from the train station.
