It’s easy to get to Hepworth Wakefield car-free.
From Wakefield Kirkgate station, the gallery is a five-minute stroll over the river and from Wakefield Westgate, it’s about twenty minutes’ walk.
There are regular trains to Wakefield Kirkgate from Leeds and Nottingham and to Wakefield Westgate from Leeds, Doncaster, Sheffield, London Kings Cross, Newcastle and Scotland. When you travel by train, a Wakefield PlusBus ticket gives you limitless local travel.
FreeCityBus stops outside both stations and the gallery every ten minutes (not Sundays).

About Hepworth Wakefield
Wakefield’s art gallery has an award-winning home, set in big newly-designed waterfront gardens.
