Trains run to Oxford from: London Paddington (50 mins), London Marylebone (about 80 mins), Didcot (20 mins), Reading (25 mins), Banbury (25 mins), High Wycombe (45 mins) and beyond. The tour start-point is about a 15-minute walk away. Head straight up Frideswide Street, Hythe Bridge Street and George Street.

Buses run to Oxford from: Abingdon (25 mins), Bicester, and Kidlington (30 mins), Didcot and Witney (35 mins). The bus station is a 5-10 minute walk away.
