X Lines bus X20 runs from Durham to Langley Park. Buses leave from Durham bus station and run via Wharton Park frequently (less on Sundays). The journey takes about 20 minutes. Hop off at The Rams Head bus shelter on Low Moor Road. It’s then about a 5-minute walk up the road opposite the pub.
By bus from Chester Le Street
Bus 725 runs from Chester Le Street to Langley Park. Buses leave regularly (none on Sundays) from The Lambton Arms bus shelter. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Hop off at The Rams Head shelter. It’s then about a 5-minute walk.
By bus from Consett
Bus X5 and bus X15 run from Consett to Langley Park. Buses leave from Consett bus station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Hop off at Black Path. It’s then about a 10-minute walk, following the footpath.
By bus from Sunderland
X Lines bus X20 runs from Sunderland to Langley Park. Buses leave from Sunderland Interchange frequently (less on Sundays). The journey takes about 85 minutes. Hop off at The Rams Head bus shelter on Low Moor Road. It’s then about a 5-minute walk up the road opposite the pub.
By train
Trains run to Durham from: Newcastle (10 mins), Darlington (15 mins), York (45 mins), Leeds (70 mins) and Edinburgh (95 mins).
