About Hawkshead Grammar School

Step back into a time where young men could drink beer and smoke at school and uncover some of the mysteries of 16th century education. The grammar school opened in the Elizabethan era and the poet William Wordsworth was educated there. You can have an introductory talk, take a quiz, play a game and write with a quill.
