The nearest train station is Dalston. From there it’s a 20-30 minute walk.
There are trains to Dalston from: Carlisle (10 mins), Whitehaven (60 mins), Barrow-in-Furness, Ulverston and Lancaster.
Alternatively, you can ride regular bus 300 or occasional bus 400 from Carlisle to Cardewlees. The bus stop is a 15-minute walk from the campsite.
