It’s easy to reach Levens Hall car-free.

Bus 555 and bus X6 run regularly from Kendal bus station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Jump off at Levens Bridge. Walk a couple of minutes to Levens Hall.

Bus 555 also runs from: Lancaster (about 65 mins) and Keswick. Bus X6 also runs from Ulverston (45 mins). Bus 755 runs occasionally from Morecambe (50 mins).

There are direct trains to Kendal from: Manchester (about 95 mins), Preston (40 mins), Lancaster (20 mins), Windermere (15 mins) and Oxenholme (5 mins). There are connections from London, Glasgow, Carlisle and all cities in the North of England.
