It’s quite easy to visit Sudbury Arts Centre car-free, as trains and buses stop a few minutes’ walk away.

It’s a scenic 20-minute train journey along the Gainsborough Line to Sudbury. Change at Marks Tey, which has direct trains from: London Liverpool Street (60 mins, via Stratford and Shenfield), Colchester (25 mins) and Chelmsford (5 mins).

There are direct buses to Sudbury from: Colchester (50 mins) and Bury St Edmunds (60 mins).
