How to get toHoghton Towercar-free

Visit Hoghton Tower car-free

Visit by bus for just £2 each way. Most buses in England are offering £2 Single Fares until 31st December 2024. Our journey planner will show you if your route is included, or you can find a full list of participating operators and routes here.

It’s quite easy to visit Hoghton Tower car-free.

Bus 152 runs frequently (fewer on Sundays) from Preston bus station (Stand 39). The journey takes about 20 minutes. Bus 152 also runs from Blackburn bus station (40 mins, Stand 5) and Burnley bus station (105 mins, Stand 4). Hop off at the Boar’s Head in Hogherton. It’s then about a 15-minute stroll to Hogherton Tower.

Trains run to Preston from across the North of England and beyond. From Preston jump on bus 152 (see above).
