It’s easy to reach the Castle Museum, as it is in the middle of Clitheroe, right beside the train station.
There are direct trains to Clitheroe from Blackburn (about 25 mins), Bolton (55 mins), Manchester Victoria (70 mins), other Manchester stations and Rochdale (100 mins).
There are frequent buses from around Lancashire. Buses stop at the entrance from Burnley (bus M2, and bus C4), Blackburn (bus 22) and Preston (bus 280). Other buses call at Clitheroe from Burnley (bus 64) and the Ribble Valley (buses 64, 66 and 67).
