Visit Glenfinnan Monument and Visitor Centre car-free
From Glenfinnan railway station, the monument and visitor centre is about 15 minutes down the road. You can also follow the adventurous viaduct walk (maps from the station museum).
Alternatively, Bus 500 from Fort William stops opposite the Visitor Centre at Slatach Road End.
There are trains to Glenfinnan along the spectacular West Highland Line from Fort William (30 mins), Mallaig (45 mins) and Glasgow Queen Street (4.5 hours).

About Glenfinnan Monument and Visitor Centre
This poignant 18-metre monument on the shore of Loch Shiel is topped by the statue of a Highlander and has incredible views, accessed via a small spiral staircase. Bonnie Prince Charlie rallied an army here in 1745 - learn more in the visitor centre exhibition about the Jacobite rising.
