It’s easy to visit Westley Farm car-free. Buses stop at the entrance, located outside Stroud.
Buses run from: Stroud (10-15 mins) and Cirencester (20-30 mins)
Taxis can be booked for Stroud (10 mins) or Kemble (15 mins) train stations.
Trains run to Stroud from: Cheltenham Spa (30 mins), Gloucester (15 mins), Swindon (25 mins) and also London Paddington.

A Cotswolds Discoverer Pass gives you unlimited local travel by train in the area. Stagecoach buses are also covered, but not services to Westley Farm.
When you travel by train, a Stroud PlusBus ticket brings you a 30-minute walk away, near the canal in Chalford High Street.

Footpaths, including the Cotswold Canals Walk and Wysis Way, go beside the nearby Thames and Severn Canal.

By bus from Stroud or Cirencester
Buses 54, 54A and X54 run to the entrance. Buses leave a few times per day (less on Saturdays, none on Sundays) from:
- Stroud Merrywalks shelter – by the cinema in town (10-15 mins)
- Cirencester The Forum shelter – by the shopping centre in town (20-30 mins)
Jump off at Westley Farm entrance – ask the driver to let you know when. It’s then about a 5-10 minute walk.
By train via Stroud
There are direct trains to Stroud from:
- Golden Valley Line + audio guide: Cheltenham Spa (30 mins), Gloucester (15 mins), Kemble (15 mins), Swindon (25 mins)
- London line audio guide: Didcot Parkway (45 mins), London Paddington (85 mins), Reading (60 mins).

There are direct trains to Kemble from:

- London line + audio guide: Didcot Parkway (30 mins), London Paddington (65 mins), Reading (45 mins).
- From Oxford, change at Didcot Parkway (20 mins). From Birmingham, change at Cheltenham Spa (40 mins).
