Visit Trentham car-free

Visit by bus for just £2 each way. Most buses in England are offering £2 Single Fares until 31st December 2024. Our journey planner will show you if your route is included, or you can find a full list of participating operators and routes here.

It’s quite easy to visit The Trentham Estate car-free.

Bus 100 runs a few times a day, direct from Stoke-on-Trent train station. The journey takes about 15 minutes to reach the entrance.

Otherwise, bus 21 runs frequently from Stoke-on-Trent train station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Leap off at the Man-in-Space pub. It’s then an about 15 minute stroll.

Other buses stop outside from: Hanley (bus 101 and bus 100), Stafford (bus 101) and Stone (bus 100).

There are direct trains to Stoke-on-Trent from: Crewe (25 mins), Manchester (35 mins), Birmingham (50 mins), London Euston (105 mins), Newark Castle, Oxford, Bristol and Plymouth. When you travel by train, a Stoke-on-Trent PlusBus ticket offers unlimited travel by bus around the city.
