How to get toSalts Millcar-free

Visit Salts Mill car-free

It’s easy to reach Salts Mill car-free as it is round the corner from Saltaire train station in North Bradford. It is home to The 1853 Gallery and 3rd Floor Gallery of David Hockney works, and will house The Peace Museum in 2024.

There are direct trains to Saltaire from: Bradford Foster Square (10 mins), Keighley (10 mins), Leeds (15 mins), Skipton (25 mins). You can change at Shipley from Ilkley, and at Bradford Interchange from London and stations across the North of England.

If you travel from Bradford Interchange, then take The Shuttle 662 or bus 622. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Jump off at Bingley Road Ferncliffe Road shops, then stroll for up to 10 minutes. If you travel by train to Bradford Interchange or Bradford Foster Square, then a Bradford PlusBus ticket will give you unlimited bus travel around the city.

Buses run the Saltaire area from: Keighley (35 mins), Leeds (70 mins) and other local areas.
