How to get toRSPB Sherwood Forestcar-free

Visit RSPB Sherwood Forest car-free

From Nottingham’s Victoria bus station, the Sherwood Arrow bus runs hourly direct to RSPB Sherwood, stopping outside the visitor centre. It takes about an hour.

From Mansfield, bus 14 also runs hourly and stops at Royal Oak pub in Edwinstowe. RSPB Sherwood Forest is short walk from there along Church Street and left into Forest Corner.

About RSPB Sherwood Forest

The restaurant, marked nature trails, Robin Hood connections and an 800-year-old oak tree are attractions in this wooded reserve in a former royal hunting forest.
