It’s easy to visit RockReef car-free. It’s located on Bournemouth Pier at Bournemouth Beach.
Trains run to Bournemouth from: Basingstoke (60 mins), Brockenhurst (15 mins), Dorchester (40 mins), Poole (15 mins), Southampton Central (30 mins), Wareham (25 mins), Weymouth (50 mins) and London Waterloo (115 mins).
From the train station, it’s a 1.5-mile or 25-minute walk. Exit the train station via the bus stops and turn Left, then Right onto Holdenhurst Road. Continue down Bath Road toward the sea.
Buses run to Bournemouth from: Lymington (buses X1 and X2, 95 mins Westover Road), Ringwood (bus X6, 30 mins), Salisbury (bus X3, 70 mins) and Wimborne (6 & 6a, 13 & 13a, 45-60 mins). Buses stop at Westover Road, a 5-10 minute walk away.
There are also longer-distance coaches to Bournemouth. Coaches can drop passengers off in the turning area next to the BIC, a short two minute walk from RockReef
