Visit RHS Garden Rosemoor car-free

Visit by bus for just £2 each way. Most buses in England are offering £2 Single Fares until 31st December 2024. Our journey planner will show you if your route is included, or you can find a full list of participating operators and routes here.

There’s a regular bus to Rosemoor from Exeter and Barnstaple. You can also take a scenic rail journey to Barnstaple and continue by bus or taxi, or by riding the Tarka Trail cycle path. Our journey planner above will show you train and bus times and walking routes.

Cyclists welcome and bike racks are provided. National Route 3 (The Tarka Trail) passes close to Rosemoor. It’s a delightful 16.5mile ride to RHS Rosemoor from Barnstaple Station. Here’s a map of the 2-mile link from the Tarka Trail to the Gardens – note that the last 1/3 mile is on a main road. Plan your cycle route here.

You can hire bikes from Tarka Trail Cycle Hire at Barnstaple Station, or Torrington Cycle Hire.

The Tarka Trail is a multi-use path, and can also be followed by walkers.
