Conwy station is a couple of minutes’ stroll from Plas Mawr. Walk a few steps left along the main road and turn right onto High Street to find it.

Plas Mawr means “great hall” and this grand building is Britain’s finest surviving Elizabethan town house. Seventeen impressive rooms and a lovely garden have been restored to their Elizabethan glory days, showcasing the era’s love of elaborate and colourful designs.
