It’s easy to visit ‘Forestry England Westonbirt The National Arboretum’, The National Arboretum car-free as buses stop at the entrance, located outside Tetbury.

Flexi-buses can be booked in advance from Kemble train station and Cirencester.

Buses run from: Stroud (50 mins) and Bath (85 mins), close to the train stations.

Families at Westonbirt Arboretum can enjoy Gruffalo trails and natural play areas, plus children can bring their bike or scooter if they are aged under 7 or if they are under 75cm from floor to handlebars.

Bike racks are provided by the Welcome Building entrance, as well as some spare locks. Adults can cycle to Westonbirt, but nothing within the site.

Bike spaces can be reserved on GWR trains. Hire bikes with Cotswold eBikes in Cirencester or Paddle Pedal or Pedal Power in Stroud.
