Norwich Castle is in the heart of the city, within 10 to 15 minutes’ walk of the train and bus stations. There are regular buses to Norwich from all main towns and villages in Norfolk.
If you are coming from further afield, Greater Anglia run frequent trains to Norwich from London Liverpool Street, Chelmsford, Colchester and Ipswich, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Sheringham, Cromer, Cambridge, Ely and Thetford. You can also reach Norwich by East Midlands trains from the Midlands and North of England. There are buses every few minutes from just outside the station on Thorpe Road (Stop DE) for the 5-minute journey to Castle Meadow.

About Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery
Norman castle dating from 1067, designed as a Royal Palace, with outstanding galleries of archaeology, natural history, regimental history, fine, decorative and contemporary art. The Castle Keep is the site of a major restoration project to re-instate medieval floors and rooms. Exhibitions, café and shop.
Castle Keep is currently closed for a £15m restoration and development.
