Getting to Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Garden car-free

By bus from Coventry
Catch National Express Coventry bus 11 from Pool Meadow Bus Station (Stand L). This bus runs every 20 minutes (every 30 minutes on Sundays), taking 45 minutes to reach Kenilworth.
Stagecoach bus X17 also runs from Coventry, but departs from the Transport Museum (Stop HS1). This route runs every 30 minutes (hourly on Sundays), taking 35 minutes to reach Kenilworth.
Hop off the bus at the Kenilworth Shops bus stop, from where it is a ¾ mile, 15-minute walk to the Castle (or you can book a ride with IndieGo).
By bus from Leamington Spa
Both bus 11 and bus X17 run from Leamington Spa to Kenilworth, picking up opposite the Parish Church (Stand B) or on Upper Parade (Stand G). The journey to Kenilworth takes just 20 minutes – get off at the Holiday Inn just across the road from the Kenilworth Shops stop.
The Kenilworth Shops bus stop is a ¾ mile, 15-minute walk to the Castle (or you can book a ride with IndieGo).
By bus from Warwick
Take Stagecoach bus X17 from Warwick Bus Station (Stand D). Buses run every 30 minutes (hourly on Sundays), and the journey to Kenilworth takes about 45 minutes. For the Castle alight at the Holiday Inn.
By train
Kenilworth Station is on the line linking Nuneaton, Coventry, Kenilworth and Leamington Spa. West Midlands trains run every hour, 7 days per week. The train ride from Nuneaton takes 30 minutes, from Coventry 8 minutes and from Leamington Spa 7 minutes.
