It’s easy to visit Charlecote Park car-free.
Buses stop outside from Warwick (20 mins), Stratford-Upon-Avon (30 mins) and Leamington Spa (45 mins).
There are direct trains to Warwick from: Birmingham’s Solihull (20 mins), Moor Street (30 mins) and Snow Hill (30 mins), plus London Marylebone (90 mins). You can also get to Leamington Spa from: Coventry (10 mins), Oxford (35 mins) and Reading (60 mins).

National Route 41 from Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick and Leamington Spa passes beside Charlecote Park. Bike racks are located outside Visitor Reception. Please note that there is no cycle route within the parkland itself and bikes are not permitted inside the parkland due to the free-roaming wildlife and livestock. Plan your cycle route here.

Getting to Charlecote Park car-free
Here's our recommended route to Charlecote Park. To get bus and train times and walking routes use our journey planner.
By bus from Warwick
Bus 15 runs direct to Charlecote Park. Buses leave regularly (less on Sundays) from Warwick bus station (Stand A, sheltered) and Castle (10 mins from the train station). The journey takes about 20 minutes. Jump off at the Pheasant hotel (old red building with a low roof). It’s then a couple of minute’s walk along the road and Left to the Visitor Welcome Centre in the car-park (bottom of the map).
By bus from Stratford-Upon-Avon
Bus 15 runs direct to Charlecote Park. Buses leave regularly (less on Sundays) from Stratford-upon-Avon, adjacent to the Nat-West Bank (sheltered, 10 mins from the train station). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Jump off at the Pheasant hotel (old red building with a low roof). It’s then a couple of minute’s walk along the road and Left to the Visitor Welcome Centre in the car-park (bottom of the map).
There is also a once daily accessible Flexibus which needs to be booked a day in advance.
By bus from Leamington Spa
Bus 15 runs direct to Charlecote Park. Buses leave regularly (less on Sundays) from Leamington Spa Upper Parade (Stand K, sheltered) and train station (opposite, sheltered). The journey takes about 45 minutes. Jump off at the Pheasant hotel (old red building with a low roof). It’s then a couple of minute’s walk along the road and Left to the Visitor Welcome Centre in the car-park (bottom of the map).
By train
There are direct trains to Warwick and Leamington Spa from:
Solihull (20 mins), Banbury (25 mins), Birmingham Moor Street (30 mins), Birmingham Snow Hill (30 mins), Bicester North (40 mins), High Wycombe (60 mins) and London Marylebone (90 mins).
There are direct trains to just Leamington Spa from:
Coventry (10 mins, with trains from London Euston), Oxford (35 mins) and Reading (60 mins, with Elizabeth Line and other trains).
