Visit Eureka! Science + Discovery car-free
It’s a real adventure to visit Eureka! Science + Discovery Centre at Seacombe ferry terminal.
From Liverpool Pier Head, you can book a ferry cross the Mersey direct to the museum entrance. Ferries run regularly and take about 20 minutes. Follow our instructions to Pier Head at Royal Albert Dock.
Alternatively, from Hamilton Square train station, head to bus stop BD and catch the 409 or 411 (10 mins) toward New Brighton. You can get to Hamilton Square from central Liverpool stations (5 mins) and across the Wirral area.
Otherwise, from Birkenhead Central, take a 10-minute stroll to Birkenhead bus station and catch bus 409 or 411. When you travel by train, a Birkenhead PlusBus ticket offers unlimited local travel by bus around the Birkenhead side of the river.

About Eureka! Science + Discovery
The museum is designed especially for children. It relates science concepts to our everyday lives, making them more accessible. Hands-on exhibits demonstrate topics in: human bodies, homes, and nature (including 'climate questions'). The museum also has an under 7s play area and art room.
