Royal Albert Dock is a short stroll to the train stations: James Street (about 2 mins), Central (10-15 mins), Moorfields (10 mins) and Lime Street (15 mins).

There are direct trains to James Street from: Chester, Ellesmere Port, New Brighton and West Kirby; to Central from: Hunts Cross, Kirkby, Ormskirk and Southport; and to Liverpool Lime Street from Manchester Victoria (about 40 mins), Leeds (90 mins), Sheffield (105 mins) and many other local towns and cities across England.

When you travel by train, a Liverpool PlusBus ticket gives you unlimited travel around the city by bus. Buses stop in James Street area from within Liverpool and St Helens. Various tour buses stop outside.
