It’s easy to get to Cardiff Castle car-free.
Cardiff Castle is 10 minutes’ stroll away from Cardiff Central Station. Look out for signs in the city centre.
There are trains to Cardiff from all over Wales, London Paddington, Portsmouth, Manchester, Nottingham and elsewhere. If you travel by train, a Cardiff PlusBus ticket gives you unlimited travel around the city by bus.
Hourly bus T4 from Merthyr Tydfill stops outside the entrance and several other buses stop nearby at Castle Bridge.
