How to get toLondon Wetland Centrecar-free

Visit London Wetland Centre car-free

Visit by bus for just £2 each way. Most buses in England are offering £2 Single Fares until 31st December 2024. Our journey planner will show you if your route is included, or you can find a full list of participating operators and routes here.

It’s easy to visit London Wetland Centre car-free. Bus 485 stops outside, and others 5-minutes away at the Red Lion Pub.

From Barnes take bus 33 or bus 419 (5 mins). From Barnes Bridge, take bus 209, bus 378 (5 mins) or walk 15 mins. Both stations are on the Waterloo (20 mins) to Weybridge (50 mins) line via Clapham Junction and Feltham.

From Putney Bridge (District Line) or the Thames Clipper boat, take bus 378 (10 mins).

From Hammersmith (Piccadilly, District, Circle, Hammersmith & City Lines) walk 25 minutes over the bridge and along the river.

About London Wetland Centre

Spot otters, frogs, lizards, dragon flies or one of the 180 bird species seen at this 105 acre wildlife reserve. There is an adventure playground, Wild Walk and café. At weekends, you can attend free talks, help with bird watching and bird feeding or join other special events.
