It’s easy to reach Tatton Park car-free. Trains and buses stop 10 minutes from the gate.

There are regular, direct trains to Knutsford train station from: Northwich (about 10 mins), Altrincham (15 mins), Stockport (30 mins), Manchester Piccadilly (40 mins) and Chester (45 mins).

Bus 88 runs regularly (except Sundays) from Macclesfield (about 60 mins) and Wilmslow (40 mins). Bus 89 runs occasionally (except Sundays) from Northwich (40 mins).

The mansion house has dressing up clothes and lets you experience the life of an Edwardian servant. Outside, there is parkland with water and bike hire, landscaped, Japanese and walled gardens, plus a petting farm.
