Visit Jupiter Artland car-free
Regular buses run from Edinburgh city centre to Coxydene, in just 35-45 minutes. From there it’s a 15-minute stroll through the sculpture park. Use our journey planner above to get bus times and walking route.

Cyclists are welcome. National Routes 75 and 754 from Edinburgh pass close to Jupiter Artland. You can also cycle from the rail stations at Kirknewton (2 miles) or Uphall (4.5 miles). Plan your cycle route here.

By bus
By Bus from Edinburgh
From Edinburgh hop on Lothian Country bus X27 at Princes Street (Stop PQ), close to Waverley Station. Buses run frequently (regularly on Sundays) and the journey takes 35 minutes. Get off at Coxydene, by Coxydene Farm Feeds.
By Bus from Livingston
Bus X27 also runs from Livingston Bus Terminal (Stance F) to Coxydene. Journey times from Livingston 30 mins.
From the bus stop, it’s an easy 15-minute walk through the sculpture park, with artworks and views all the way. Use our journey planner to get bus times and walking route.
By train
By train via Edinburgh
Trains run to Edinburgh Waverley from all Scottish Cities, also from London, York, Newcastle and many other cities. On arrival at Edinburgh, catch bus X27, as above.
By train via Livingston South
Trains also run from Glasgow Central to Livingston South. From the station it’s an easy 15-minute walk to Dedridge (Lizzie Bryces Roundabout) to catch bus X27 to Coxydene.
Whilst the nearest station to Jupiter Artland is Kirknewton, it’s a 30-minute walk along main roads to Jupiter Artland, so we advise taking the train to Edinburgh or Livingston South, as above.

Jupiter Artland is an award-winning contemporary sculpture garden located just outside Edinburgh, set over 100 acres of meadow and woodland, with five indoor gallery spaces. Walk among 35 permanent site-specific sculptures from artists including Phyllida Barlow, Charles Jencks, Anish Kapoor, Cornelia Parker and Antony Gormley and dip into a seasonal programme of exhibitions and events.
