Trains run to Musselburgh from: Dunbar (25 mins), Edinburgh Waverley (7 mins) and North Berwick (25 mins). From the train station, it’s around 30-minute walk, mostly along footpaths. Otherwise change for the bus.
Bus 111 runs regularly from Musselburgh train station (less on Saturday, none on Sunday). The journey takes about 15 minutes. Bus 46 & bus 48 also run frequently to Musselburgh Grammar School, which is a 5-10 minute walk away.
Buses run to Inveresk village from: Edinburgh city centre (40 mins), Eskbank (20 mins), Shawfair (20 mins), and Penicuik (60 mins).
