It’s easy to visit Hauser & Wirth car-free.
It is about five minutes’ walk from Bruton railway station. Turn left out of the station and left again onto Dropping Lane. Immediately after the railway bridge, fork right onto footpath through field. Follow it uphill, across drive and past allotments. Cross back over B3081 to reach Hauser & Wirth.
There are direct trains to Bruton from: Yeovil (20 mins), Trowbridge (30 mins), Bath (50 mins), Bristol (70 mins), Weymouth (70 mins), Andover (100 mins), Basingstoke (95 mins), Gloucester (2 hrs), London Waterloo (3 hrs), or you can change at Castle Cary.
Bus 667 runs a few times per day between Street and Wincanton.
