It’s easy to visit Edinburgh Zoo car-free. It’s 4-miles from Edinburgh city centre and buses stop outside the main entrance on Corstorphine Road. The member entrance is in the car-park.
Buses run from Edinburgh: Haymarket (5-10 mins), Waverly train station / Princes Street tram stop (15-20 mins) and Airport (15 mins), plus: Linlithgow (45 mins), Bathgate (60 mins), Glasgow (65 mins) and Falkirk(80 mins).
Trains run to Edinburgh Waverley from: Stirling (40 mins), Glasgow (55 mins), Perth (75 mins), Carlisle (80 mins), Dundee (90 mins) and Newcastle (95 mins).
