Visit Westonbirt The National Arboretum car-free
Bus 69 runs from Stroud to Westonbirt several times daily, Monday to Saturday, allowing for a 3 or 6 hour visit. Bus 620 provides an connecting service from Bath to Westonbirt, Monday to Saturday. There are direct trains to Stroud from London, Reading, Swindon, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Cyclists are welcome. There are cycle racks at the Welcome Building and Westonbirt are happy to look after helmets/gear. No cycling is allowed inside the arboretum. You can book your bike onto the train to Kemble, from where it’s a 15-mile cycle. Plan your cycle route here.
