Visit Seven Stories – the National Centre for Children’s Books car-free
Seven Stories is located in the Ouseburn Valley, less than 10 minutes’ bus ride from Newcastle City Centre. There are buses every few minutes from the Monument District (Blackett Street Bus Stops A, B and C, or Market Street Bus Stop T). Alight at New Bridge Street (St Dominics) for a 5-minute walk to Seven Stories.
There are also direct buses to New Bridge Street from many parts of Newcastle, including Chapel House, Fenham, Gateshead, Killingworth, Lemington, Throckley, Walker and Wallsend. There is also a direct bus from Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and North Shields.
The nearest Metro stations are Manors and Byker, both a 15-minute walk from Seven Stories.
If you are coming from further field, catch the train to Newcastle, then hop on the Metro or cross the road to Clayton Street (Stop H) for bus 22 to New Bridge Street (St Dominics), just a 5-minute walk from Seven Stories.
