From Gretna Green railway station, it’s a ten-minute stroll to the Blacksmith’s Shop. An off-road path from the station leads to the road called Gretna Loaning, whose pavement will take you the rest of the way.

There are regular trains to Gretna Green from Carlisle (13 mins), Dumfries (25 mins) and beyond.
