How to get toEdinburgh Bus Tourscar-free

It’s easy to get to the Edinburgh Bus Tours car-free. Buses are hop-on-hop-off, but start at Edinburgh Waverly train station, stop ZG in Waterloo Place.

Stop ZG is about a 5-minute stroll from the Edinburgh Waverley train station, 10 minutes from Princess Street tram stop, or 30 minutes from Haymarket train station.

There are direct trains to Edinburgh Waverley from: local towns and villages, Berwick-upon-Tweed (about 50 mins), Glasgow (55 mins), Newcastle, Dundee (both 85 mins), and further across Scotland and England. If you travel by train, you can buy an Edinburgh Waverley or Haymarket PlusBus ticket for unlimited travel around the city by normal buses (not sightseeing buses).
