  1. Cornwall, Devon & Dorset

    Cornwall

    St Michael’s Mount is a Norman castle and church set on a dramatic tidal island.

    Pont ar Daf in the Brecon Beacons is the most popular access point for Pen y Fan, the highest peak in southern Britain. It forms one of the most recognisable skylines in the UK. There is a subsidised bus to get there during high-season.

  1. Scotland

    Robert Burns Birthplace Museum houses more than 5,000 Burns artefacts, including his handwritten manuscripts. Explore the museum and the cottage where the poet was born.

    Glenfinnan Monument and Visitor Centre. The monument on the shore of Loch Shiel is topped by the statue of a Highlander and has incredible views, accessed via a small spiral staircase.
