There are direct trains to Eastbourne from London Victoria and London Bridge, as well as Brighton, Bexhill, Hastings and Ashford.
It's a half mile walk from the station to the gallery: go down Gildredge Road opposite the station > straight on, crossing South Street and Furness Road, and down College Road > Towner is on the left at the far end of College Road
Or, if you’re coming from Brighton (especially if you have a bus pass), you may like to catch the 12A bus – every 20 minutes from Churchill Square Brighton (Stop E) to the Winter Gardens Eastbourne, just round the corner from Towner
