By train via Chartham
There are direct trains to Chartham from:
- Kent: Ashford International (15 mins), Canterbury West (5 mins), Paddock Wood (50 mins), Ramsgate (30 mins), Sevenoaks (75 mins) and Tonbridge (55 mins).
- London: London Bridge (100 mins), London Waterloo East (95 mins) and London Charing Cross (100 mins).
You can also get to Chartham via other stations:
- Kent: Deal (20 mins to Ramsgate), Dover (25 mins to Ashford), Folkestone (15 mins to Ashford), Maidstone (20 mins to Paddock Wood), Margate (35 mins to Canterbury West), Tunbridge Wells (10 mins to Tonbridge) then change for connecting trains.
- London: London St Pancras International (35 mins to Ashford) and London Stratford International (25 mins to Ashford) then change for connecting trains.

By train via Canterbury East
There are direct trains to Canterbury East from:
- Kent & Medway: Chatham (45 mins), Dover (30 mins) and Faversham (15 mins).
- London: London Victoria (90 mins), Bromley South (75 mins).
It’s a 20-minute walk from Canterbury East to Canterbury West to catch a train to Chartham.
Alternatively, bus 24 runs regularly, but only during the day-time (less on Saturdays and none on Sundays). Buses leave from Canterbury East train station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Jump off at Chartham train station to meet the minibus.

The Garlinge Theatre is a purpose built, all-wooden theatre with a capacity of 300. We are nestled within the national landscapes area of outstanding natural beauty in Kent, fully accessible, with free on-site parking and electric vehicle charging. We also offer a free minibus collection service from Chartham train station, which can be organised via emailing the theatre.
