The Shoebox Experiences’ ‘Norwich’s Hidden Street Tour’ starts opposite Norwich Castle. Most local buses stop at Castle Meadow for the bustling shopping centres at nearby Market Place and The Lanes.

Castle Meadow is also within easy reach of Norwich bus and train stations. There are direct trains to Norwich from Great Yarmouth (60 mins), Sheringham (60 mins), Cambridge (75 mins), Peterborough (85 mins), London (105 mins) and further afield.

Bookings must be made in advance online, using promo code GOOD10. You will need to show your bus/train ticket on arrival, or be able to confirm you have travelled by bike or on foot for your journey.

National Route 1 passes nearby and the Marriott’s Way follows it to Aylsham. you can also cycle from Norwich to the Norfolk Broads or along the Rebellion Way.

You can hire a bike in Norwich from Beryl bike or a bike shop.

At the edge of Norwich, the Marriot’s Way and Wherryman’s Way (Cross Norfolk Trail), Kett’s CountryBoudicca Way and Yare Valley Walk footpaths start.
