It takes a little planning to reach Richardson’s Boating Holidays and Marina Café in secluded Stalham car-free. Buses run through the Norfolk Broads towards the beach.
There are buses a few times per day from: Norwich (about 50 mins), Great Yarmouth (55 mins) and North Walsham (20 mins). It’s then about a 10-minute stroll to Richardson’s Boating Holidays.
There are regular direct trains to Hoveton & Wroxham from Norwich, Sheringham and Cromer. It’s then an about 30-minute bus ride.

There are direct trains to Norwich from: London Liverpool Street (about 105 mins), London Stratford International (105 mins), Cambridge (75 mins), Peterborough (85 mins), Nottingham (2.5 hrs), Sheffield (3hrs 40 mins), Manchester Piccadilly (4.5 hrs), Liverpool Lime Street (5.5 hrs or change), Colchester (60 mins), Thetford (50 mins), Ipswich (40 mins), Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth (30-40 mins on the scenic Wherry Lines), Attleborough (20 mins) and Wymondham (15 mins).
Change for the regular direct train to Hoveton & Wroxham from Norwich (about 10 mins) on the scenic Bittern Line. The train also runs from: Cromer (30 mins), Sheringham (40 mins), North Walsham (15 mins), Worstead (5 mins) and West Runton (35 mins).
Walk for about 5 minutes to Roys Department Store.

From the bus stop it’s (about) a 10-minute walk along the A road and through the village, with pavements.
