Visit RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse car-free
It’s easy to visit Wentworth Woodhouse car-free, with transport from: Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester.
Free shuttle buses will run every 20-45 minutes from: Meadowhall (15 mins). Trains run to Meadowhall from: Leeds (45 mins), Manchester (65 mins) and Liverpool (2 hrs). Meadowhall is also on the Supertram.
Buses run direct to Wentworth Woodhouse from: Rotherham (15 mins) and Barnsley (35 mins).
The entrance to Wentworth Woodhouse is accessed off Cortworth Lane, directly opposite the end of Clayfield Lane. View the village map and estate map to get your bearings.

Cycle path National Route 67, part of which joins the Trans-Pennine Trail, runs from Elsecar train station and Sheffield. Bike racks are available at Stables Car Park situated off Cortworth Lane. Plan your cycle route here.
Footpaths near Wentworth village include the Trans-Pennine Trail, and walks from Elsecar and Sholes.

Meadowhall South / Tinsley (yellow and black lines) is about a 10-minute walk away. Change here from Rotherham (5 mins).

About RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse
RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse invited the whole family to bask in summer gardening goodness from 16th - 20th July 2025.
Located in South Yorkshire, in the village of Wentworth – which dates back to 1066 – Wentworth Woodhouse is a vast country estate with incredible views of the surrounding parkland. In 2025 the house hosted RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse, as the Show moved on from its previous home at Tatton Park.
RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse was a day out for all the family. There were unique gardens, talks and tips, children’s activities, floral installations, markets, stalls and lots of tasty food and drink to enjoy.
The Show was open to the public as well as RHS members. Members benefit from reduced ticket prices and exclusive member days.
In July 2026 the RHS Sandringham Flower Show will be held in Norfolk.
